Loch Goil Cruisers is situated on the west side of Loch Goil, a sea loch, approximately two miles from the picturesque village of Lochgoilhead. It is around fifteen miles from Loch Lomond and fifty miles from Glasgow.

The historic centre of Inveraray, with its famed castle, is just thirteen miles away, whilst the holiday resort of Dunoon and nearby holiday park can be found some thirty miles away in the other direction. We are situated within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, which is an area of outstanding natural beauty and a very popular tourist destination.

Lochgoilhead has a population of around eight hundred people, with a primary school, health centre, police station, fire station, post office, small supermarket, bowling green and multi-court. It has hotels, restaurants and guest houses, as well as a holiday complex with swimming pool, small skating rink, nine hole golf course, riding stable and other facilities. If you are interested in walking there are a number of mountain and forest walks, and there is both loch and river fishing to be had.
